I do not use Thunderbird but I do use Mozilla mail. Try doing a right mouse click on the inbox in your mail program and select COMPACT THIS FOLDER (that is what it is in Mozilla). You can do it for all folders and it will get rid of all the deleted e-mails. Th... Login to read more.
