First, I use Win98 and as far as I know, the updates are only for the operating system itself. I've NEVER seen auto-updates for non-system or non-Microsoft hardware. If XP or 2000 does it ,then I stand corrected. But if not, I'd be concerned you DL'd some bogu... Login to read more.
