I have 2 Pentiums (266 and P3 400mhz) I have 4 AMD: 3 are Athlon and one is K2-450mhz. Athlon's run 24/7 as WAN servers. Only issue in three years has been dust on fan blades and the noise that occurs with the out of balance condition. Easy fix.
