Established and busy automotive repair shop in Silver Lake, WI (53170) is looking for friendly and organized Automotive Service Writer.

The Automotive Service Writer is responsible for:

-Initiating automotive service & repairs by listening to descriptions of symptoms from customers, clarifying descriptions, determining automotive needs & services, conducting inspections, checking vehicle maintenance & records, and examining service schedules.

-Developing estimates by costing materials, supplies & labor

-Maintaining automotive records by recording problems & recommended services and scheduling future appointments.

-Developing & maintaining customer relationships by explaining estimates and expected return of value, obtaining customer approval on estimates, obtaining & providing contact telephone numbers and answering questions and concerns.

Required Skills:

-Previous automotive service writer experience

-Highly trainable mentality
