The Product Manager will plan, develop, and direct the aftermarket marketing efforts for Automotive Engine Management, Emission sensors, Ignition and other fuel system components. Participate in the activities of production, sales, advertising, promotion, research and development, marketing research, purchasing, distribution, package development and finance. This position is located in Pacific, MO and applicant must be willing to relocate.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.May manage product analysts and catalog assistants. 2.Research feasibility and applications for new and existing products, e.g.O2 sensors and engine management devices. 3.Develop vehicle application databases containing OEM product specific information for many worldwide sales markets. 4.Produce competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors. 5.Conduct market research and identifies and tracks market trends in company's industry. 6.Assure process or product adheres to the company quality program and plans by assisting in audits and recommending corrective actions. 7.Participate in overall product strategy, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products. 8.Respond to customer inquiries regarding product applications and use. 9.Manage in the production of paper catalogs per product line as requested.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 1.Associates' degree or equivalent from a trade school. 2.Must be computer proficient with Microsoft Office programs 3.Above average math, communication, and reasoning skills. 4.Knowledge of engine control devices and automotive aftermarket experience required 5.5 years of Automotive Aftermarket Product management experience desired.
