Meineke of San Mateo is searching for a highly motivated and experienced service manager to work with the owner to help start-up and run the day to day operations of the center, including hiring the tech staff. Our new location will be run and staffed by people like you - professionals who enjoy what they do and are fully committed to providing unparalleled customer service in the Meineke way. In this role, you will have responsibility for all shop operations -- including but not limited to management of the service counter and tech staff, employee scheduling, environmental compliance, inventory management, environmental compliance and safety, training and motivating your team. You will also serve as the lead service writer. This position has the potential to evolve into a full general management of the center, including P&L responsibility for the right candidate. Compensation will include an attractive base salary and incentives tied to the success of the store.

Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in the automotive repair industry with at least 3 years of store operations management experience - Experience managing a team or staff - Experience as a service writer - Solid understanding of all aspects of managing a high volume auto care center - Multiple ASE Certifications - Excellent selling and negotiating skills - Passion for customer service and a commitment to always doing what is right for the customer - A "do what it takes" attitude
