David, I'm not sure how to determine that. I'd say they are probably fine threads. The OD of the threaded part of the shaft is 1.117", the measurement of the inside of the threads is 1.031", and there are 12 TPI as measured w/ a thread pitch guage. Thanks, Jas... Login to read more.
