The Tech2 will only unlock a radio if it came from another car. Some of the later GM radios after 2000 are like that, the radio has the VIN flashed into it. I dont believe you need TIS2000 to do so, I unlocked one on a 2001 Sunfire. If you disconnect the batte... Login to read more.
