Interestingly, the Tools menu of SSC has two items on the dropdown. "Update Software" offers to update SSC or (when the scanner is attached) "Scanner". I chose scanner. I see what you mean, though. Perhaps it simply displays that the scanner is attached? I am ... Login to read more.
