Some vehicles use a different ground to enter generic OBD2, grounds are pins 4 and 5 in the dlc. Make sure both are good. I have had a number of cars come in with no comm for state OBD2 emission check but communicated fine with vehicle specific scan side. Repa... Login to read more.
