I run my Modis 10.2 on an HP LaserJet 1200. It works fine and 1200s are out there used for reasonable cost. Set it up as HP PCL3 B&W in the Modis. I would bet other desktop HP LaserJets would work but I don't have direct experience with them. Login to read more.
