I am lucky I have V-Pro and shop has modis. I would say go with Modis. You can use your old Vantage if you get in a bind needing meter and Scan tool. The Modis also has a 4 channel Lab scope. I would also say your updates would be cheaper. The only drawback is... Login to read more.
