Robert I have 5.4.2 and I needed the CAN adapter for a 2004 Cadillac CTS for global OBD II, enhanced was not covered on this car. Like Jamie said if the car is covered in enhanced mode then you do not need the adapter, just the right key. HTH Login to read more.
