Bill did you figure out anything I am having a similar issue I have this napa starter 2441601 and 168 tooth fly wheel on 400 turbo and a 350 4bolt 75-79 engine and the noise is terrible with 3/16 " of shims so it wont get stuck on flywheel the tranny from moto... Login to read more.
