Might want to put a Vacuum gauge on it and see if it gets a rough reading when the engine gets rough. WAG. That distributor should be adjustable. I'm sure you may need to verify that. Most SBC like around 40 BTDC total. Gary Goms knows more about that than I e... Login to read more.
