the rear axle is a full floating axle like on the 3/4 ton and 1 ton pick-ups and the drive axle is splined on the outside end with a drive plate. The axle stub is bolted onto the tube with shims for what degree that is desired. Hope my written picture helps. ;... Login to read more.
