Hi Matt

Back about ten years ago GM changed nomenclature on trans, 700R4 is 4L60, TH400 is 3L80, 440-T4 is 4T60, TH325 is 3T40 and so on. All means the same. So all 700R4's are now named 4L60's. Anytime there is a E after it means its electronic shift contro... Login to read more.
