John, This should be a bolt in. You must use the 4.3 flywheel on the 4.3 engine due to differences in balance. If the input shaft does not match the pilot bushing/bearing I.D. then you probably have a damaged or incorrect pilot bushing/bearing in the engine. ... Login to read more.
