I have toyed with the idea of running a 12 and a 6 volt battery wired so 12 ran the gauges and such , and 18 started the car with 18 resisted to what ever voltage you wanted for the ignition . I ran 2 12 batterys last year we raced just to have the extra power... Login to read more.
