Hi Bill --A pre conditioning or 3 minutes @ 2500 rpm is actually part of the Calif BAR - 90 test ( Idle and 2500 for 30sec each.) Note if the emission are to high thru first run though at both rpms, the machine does direct operators to remove tailpipe sniffer ... Login to read more.
