The explorer is a 2012 model, the initial smog failed because of the stored permanent EVAP codes. California allows only EVAP monitors not set for 2000 and newer gasoline vehicles to pass the OBDII portion of the smog. I didn't know any history of the vehicle ... Login to read more.
