I always check OBD Reference Guide for any testing problems as most issues are addressed there. If a 2000 and newer vehicle requires a bar 97 test, OIS will prompt you to abort the OIS test and test on Bar 97 platform. Diesels are always OIS never Bar 97. Login to read more.
