Phil, If it was really OBD1 it would have been a California vehicle since OBD1 is a CARB designation. Federal vehicles over 8500lbs were not required to be OBD2 until 2008. If it was a California vehicle it would have to have had a GVWR over 14000 lbs. so I do... Login to read more. ![]()
