you are alowed 2 missing monitors for 96 thru 2000 vehicles and only 1 monitor for 2001 and newer vehicles on ca. smog test also some older obd 2 volvos will never complete cat monitor bar 97 automaticly ignores monitor status on these vehicles. Login to read more.
