I have never seen a 6.0L Ford diesel that didn't require a cat. The label under the hood isn't always there but heavy duty diesels have a label on the engine. On the ford it is on the passenger's side valve cover and will read "TC, CAC, ECM" and "OC" if it has... Login to read more.
