There is TSB in ALLDATA to around 1998 the clearly restricts all MB vehicles to TSI. At some point after it became ok to test on dyno, most dealers are using ASM. Mitchell book reflects this, only AWD are TSI. Motor is lazy and does not fact check. I asked BAR... Login to read more.
