Something i thought of. I think the rear O2 CAN be helpful in helping to diag a cat failure. Any tuner or hotrodder can tell you if you remove the cat you will get a P0420 code. What else besides the rear O2 can possibly inform the PCM that the cat is ineffect... Login to read more.
