They monitor timing and EGR if equipped, but if the NOX reduction in the converter is degraded, OBDII can not detect it. It can only tell if the converter is reducing CO/HC. all monitors could be good, and nox can be through the roof and no MIL would be on. I ... Login to read more. ![]()
