Hi Mike,

What this was about was not so much NOx failures but the overall redution in NOx by using higher octane fuels. In the case of my 82 CIS Volvo 4 cyl that has no egr, factory recommends 91 octane fuel, but on 87 it NEVER pings. These were "dirty" NOx ... Login to read more.
