Depending on build date, make sure you arent dealing with a late 97 built 98 model...in which case the PCM will clear all monitors with key cycles. BAR adjusted the 96/97 test procedure for Mits to not check monitor status, but Ive seen 2 98 model Mits cars do... Login to read more.
