I haven't had a problem on a 323 w/NOx but on the many Volvos I work on (which also have no EGR)I have found that small exhaust leaks ahead of the cat will inhibit the NOx reduction quite a bit. I don't recall if this 323 has the cat attached to the ... Login to read more.
