Don't believe I've ever seen a cat behind the muffler on a K2500. Is it a 454? Was the cat a pellet cat? If so, they don't do squat on NOx. Did you try a loaded-mode test with the EGR unhooked to see how much difference it made? That's an "end-all" test as far... Login to read more.
