Actually the opposite problem. If you have excess backpressure on a negative BP system, the EGR valve will NEVER open with a plugged cat. If it DID open, yes, it would flow more due to the backpressure forcing more exhaust thru EGR, but the NEGATIVE means the ... Login to read more.
