On MOST of the solenoid controlled fords, if you have supply vaccum and no codes, the problem is USUALLY associated with AIR TEMP SENSOR problems.

If the AIR TEMP malfunctions or is more than 3o degrees off spec up or down, it will disable EGR.... Login to read more.
