On Hondas we remove one of the heat shield bolts and drill into the manifold from the bottom of the bolt hole. Reinstalling the bold seals the hole. We use the thin "spark arester" probe. Every manifold has had a servicable bolt hole so far. Some day I'm sure ... Login to read more.
