Actually low oxygen level is the key to catalytic NOx reduction. Since feedgas oxygen is never at zero, a little CO or HC is helpful. The CO/HC will react with the oxygen to further reduce the level of available oxygen. But oxygen is the key, NOT CO. In cases ... Login to read more.
