I wouldnt disagree with EITHER test procedure. 2850rpm is AWFUL close to rpm limits(3000 is limit)...that is NOT what Id call IN RANGE. Id call that BORDERLINE IN/OUT OF RANGE, so in THAT case, going up another gear would be fine with me. I generally shoot for... Login to read more.
