You raise an interesting point about oil pressure relief valves. Whe the oil temperatur eis low, and the gauge is at the high end, the valve is most likely open. When the oil warms up, and the pressure varies with RPM, the valve is most likely shut. At worst, ... Login to read more. ![]()
