Martin thanks for posting this. I have had similar experiences. My M5 with the Mobil1 0W-40 or the Castrol 0W-30 that is specified is just plain noisy and drinks oil. With the BMW 5W-30 the last time I had that in the engine it was quieter but still used 5 qua... Login to read more.
