I use Mitshboshi belts with oe manufacturers idlers and tensioner, meaning not in the Subaru box but company that makes the parts for them. (We do a lot of Subaru's) The Gates kit tensioner is nothing like oe and I have seen several fail right off the get go ... Login to read more.
