Hi Gary. Up here in Canada we do serve an apprentiship of 9000 hours,(5 years). We have to go to trade school for 3 terms. Each term is 8 weeks if I remember correctly. Even with a licence and apprentiship the wages are still poor compared to the other profess... Login to read more.
