Agree with you (yet again) Bruce. If 40 hours a week is "scraping by" then IMO the rate of tech pay is waaaay too low. I'd like to be paid fairly for the 40 hours a week I'm scheduled, and then, if flat rate, any hours over 40 would be a bonus, and if hourly, ... Login to read more.
