Re: Decline in those holding an ASE Credential?
In Massachusetts the issue may be that anyone can call
themselves a mechanic. ASE is not the same as the State
Licensing Board. Being ASE certified is optional and
motorists mostly have no idea what benefit they may get from
using an ASE certified tech.
