Spec levels maybe, but not specific oil - IE OEM or it's voided. I use engine oil that meets VW 505.01 specifications for their engines. As well as DEXOS certified oil for the new Chevrolet/GM vehicles - but they aren't OEM from the dealerships. VW has won ag... Login to read more.
