Hi Kevin:

In the early 80's I worked at a Chrysler dealer in Dayton, Ohio, and there was an "Urban Myth" about Fram filters voiding the powertrain warranty.

I never witnessed an actual engine failure due to their use on Chrysler engines of that period.
