Peter, I think you're referring to what is known to me as the the 4L30-E transmission used in Isuzu Troopers, Rodeo's and Axiom's. It was also used in BMW's. In the 70's it was a 3 speed known as the 180C used in Bimmers and Fiat's and US General Mail Trucks. ... Login to read more.
