Anybody know what the small 3/16" check ball in bottom side of center v/b plate does?? I've found that it is called an "ECE" check ball, and is used on later ('99>) 46RE's. These newer ones lock up in 3rd gear, and TCC stays applied on 3-4 shift? Wondering wha... Login to read more.
