Check the signal at the solenoid connector for the two shift solenoids. The Vantage scope on 2 channels works the best. Both solenoids are off for 4th gear, to downshift to 3rd, only 1 solenoid has to be turned on, if they are both energized the trans will dow... Login to read more.
