I have a 96 ss s-10 with 4l60e trans that has reoccuring dipstick rust. I have changed the trans fluid the day I bought it new with 3mi. to Mobil 1 synthetic. The stick has been replaced once by me and once by GM. They say this is normal but there is rust part... Login to read more.
