Thanks, Ben I did drop the pan, but did not find any black flakes. All I found were 2 or 3 very small pieces of "sheared" aluminuim. But it sounds like your diagnosis is right. I only know honda trans' which as you know aren't anything like a conventional set ... Login to read more.
